Construction Update

June 26, 2025

Ongoing Activities

Tonight, Thursday, June 26 starting at 7:00 p.m., crews will complete the asphalt removal and replacement between Bangerter Highway and Redwood Road.

During work hours, drivers can expect lane closures and changing traffic patterns while crews work. Drivers crossing 9000 South may experience delays up to 10 minutes while equipment passes.

Area residents can expect an increase in overnight noise, dust, vibration, and area lighting.

Overnight lane closures will continue through June and July as crews raise utility lids and install grooved-in lane lines.

All work is scheduled to be completed by the end of July.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and material/equipment availability.

Crews have removed and replaced most of the asphalt on 9000 South between Redwood Road and Bangerter Highway. Only a few sections in the middle of the road remain.
