In observance of the Memorial Day Holiday, crews will not be working between 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23 through 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27. All traffic control will remain in place. The hotline will be monitored during this time and any concerns or safety issues should be reported to the hotline 855-925-2801 Project #7482.

Upcoming Activities
The start of overnight work has been pushed back to after the Memorial Day holiday. As early as Wednesday, May 27, crews will begin overnight work (7:00 p.m. though 7:00 a.m.) to lower utility lids in preparation for the asphalt milling and paving.
This work is planned to last through the end of June.
Area residents can expect an increase in overnight noise, dust, vibration, and area lighting.
Ongoing Activities
Crews continue replacing the ADA pedestrian ramps at intersections along 9000 South. To date, crews have replaced over 30 ADA ramps of the 44 on the project!
Right shoulders both eastbound and westbound may be closed where work is taking place. Pedestrians should follow the posted detour signs and avoid walking in the work zones.
The project is scheduled for completion at the end of August.
Project Overview
To extend the life of 9000 South, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will remove and replace the asphalt and upgrade the ADA pedestrian ramps along 9000 South between Redwood Road and Bangerter Highway in the spring and summer of 2025. When that work occurs, UDOT (in coordination with West Jordan City) will add buffered bicycle lanes on both sides of 9000 South. This change will eliminate on-street parking on both sides of 9000 South.
