For the latest information, please stay connected through the links below and the project helpline.
Weekend Closures Planned for Sixth Street/Paseo Grande Intersection
Two weekend full closures of the Sixth Street/Paseo Grande intersection are scheduled this month to allow crews to pave and prepare for the opening of the Maple Street Bridge. The closures are planned for the weekends of December 9 and 16 , weather permitting.

Following the repaving of the intersection, the new Maple Street Bridge is set to reopen in late December with travel in both directions. Work began on this bridge in February.

As always, stay connected by checking the weekly Construction Alerts and visiting IE511.org for real-time traffic information. Register for Construction Alerts through the project website  or through email . Updates are posted to  Facebook Twitter  and  Instagram

Full Closures throughout December
Please anticipate ongoing nighttime full closures of the 91 throughout the month of December. These closures are necessary for crews to remove support structures for the Lincoln Avenue Bridge and other work. No nighttime work is scheduled December 24-26 or December 31-January 2, in observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Please watch for upcoming announcements of closures on eastbound 91 and westbound 91 and follow detour routes.
RCTC reminds motorists to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time if traveling through the construction limits. For questions, please call the helpline at 877-770-9191 or visit the website, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Foothill Parkway Opening
The new Foothill Parkway Westerly Extension opened December 5. For questions, please contact the Corona Public Works Department by email at publwks@ci.corona.ca.us  or by phone at (951) 736-2266.

December to Bring Gifts of New Ramps
New ramps are on schedule to open this month, just in time for the holidays. The westbound 91 Lincoln Avenue on-ramp, the westbound 91 Maple Street off-ramp and the eastbound 91 Main Street on-ramp to northbound and southbound Interstate 15 all are set to open later this month.

Please watch for notices of these newly opened ramps and be alert to new driving conditions in these areas.

Hear the Ping? Don't Worry, FasTrak Account Holders!
Testing is under way on the future 91 Express Lanes in Riverside County, so drivers may hear their FasTrak transponders pinging, chiming and beeping near the new lanes in Corona. Don't worry, accounts will not be charged until drivers use the new lanes, which are scheduled to open in spring 2017. Please watch for announcements of the opening of the lanes this spring!

TCA Seeks Comments for Proposed 241/91 Express Connector

The Transportation Corridor Agencies and Caltrans are proposing to build a direct, median-to-median, tolled connector to link the 241 Toll Road and the 91 Express Lanes. This "Express Connector" would decrease traffic congestion, enhance safety by reducing weaving across lanes, and improve toll lane access in Orange and Riverside Counties.

A draft environmental document is available for public review through January 9. Please submit comments via email or US Mail to:
