Dear Artisans,

It's LAST CALL for one of last year's best Italian super-values:
Argiano is one of the icons of Montalcino, consistently releasing first-rate premium Brunello and Super-Tuscans earning up to 100-point ratings.

Two past vintages of their unfathomable value 'Non Confunditur' were in Spectator's Top 100, with lower scores than the 2019 offered today.

You may remember their old label:
Argiano rose to greatness by having the ultimate winemaking team:

  • Until 2013 - Sebastiano Rosa: Two year tenure at Chateau Lafite Rothschild and three years at Sassacaia.

  • Until his death in 2016 - Dr. Giacomo Tachis: Most well-known winemaker in Italy with Sassacaia, Tignanello and Solaia on his resume.

  • 2013 - Present - Montalcino's hottest new star: Bernardino Sani

We're down to the last 5 cases of vintage and are pleased to offer them at the lowest price in the state by a massive margin. Move fast!

Cheers and all my best,
—James Tran
Argiano 'Non Confunditur' Toscana IGT 2019

Super-Tuscan Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese

94+ Points - Luca Gardini:
"As the Argiano’s crew use to say, a ‘baby Supertuscan’, one of the most exciting blend of the new Tuscan wave. Cabernet Sauvignon in a leading role, at 50%, then Sangiovese 25%, Merlot 20%, Petit Verdot 5%, sour cherries under spirit, peony, hints of undergrowth at the nose, the mouthfeel is also intense, dense, fruity, with brackish tannins and a balsamic scent that reappears in the aftertaste."

94 Points - Raffaele Vecchione, WinesCritic.com:
"Extremely captivating, it alternates a mature profile of strawberries, black plums and cloves with nuances of bay, black tea leaves and pepper. The background of broken stems and cumin increases its complexity. Full body, precise and vibrant tannins, lightly biting and austere and a finish of slender progression that lasts on the palate for a minute. Incredible structure for a Super Tuscan that is getting closer and closer to its big brother. Better from 2023." (6/21)

93 Points - James Suckling:
"Dark berries with walnuts, hazelnuts and white pepper on the nose, following through to a full body with ultra-fine tannins and a chewy yet refined finish. Needs two or three years to come together. Drink after 2023." (6/9/21)

92 Points - Wine Spectator:
"Vibrant yet silky, boasting black cherry, blackberry, violet and iron flavors. The iron fist emerges by way of the firm tannins, and this finishes with a long aftertaste of fruit and dried herbs. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese. Drink now through 2030. 7,920 cases made." -BS (3/21/21)
