Hi 9th Grade Families,
This semester, we will be offering 9th Grade Advisories for all students interested in participating. Interested students will also choose whether they would like to meet on campus or remotely and if they would prefer to meet in the morning or the afternoon.
9th Grade Advisories are small groups of students facilitated by O'Dowd staff with a structured curriculum intended to offer academic support, community building, and social connection.
Students will develop trusting relationships with their peers and a faculty or staff member to help ease students' continued transition into O'Dowd, especially in such a difficult and distant year.
The small advisory group setting and unique advisory curriculum foster space for students to explore their individual and social identities to cultivate a stronger sense of self and belonging within the O'Dowd community.
