December Confirmation Session
We are excited to gather again with all of our 9th graders as we continue their preparation for Confirmation in the Spring of 2021. Please read below all the information you will need to know for this Sunday evening.

  • Update on meetings: Right now we will continue to meet in person in the Church. We have made the decision to extend this style of meeting through our April meeting, to meet social distance guidelines. If you are uncomfortable coming to in person meetings please contact Corey Lesko or Kelly Foraker for assistance. Please sign your teen up via Sign Up Genius to reserve the time you would like them to attend the meeting. See bullet point below for more information.

  • Retreat: We will offer a Virtual Retreat to our candidates this year. The retreat will be completed by the teens at home with a check in during the month of February. There will be no in person meeting in February. More details to follow.

  • Times and Place. Confirmation Preparation will meet in the CHURCH for the time being. We have two time slots available: 5:30pm-6:30pm and 7pm-8pm. All teens must be signed up through our Sign Up Genius link: Click here for link Your teen must attend the session they are signed up for, in order for us to comply with all social distancing protocols. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Drop Off /Pick Up. Teens should be wearing masks when they are dropped off and keep them on for the entire session. Teens may be dropped off at the main doors of the Church. Upon arrival, teens will have their temperatures taken. For pick up, the parents must park their car and walk in to pick up their teen. All parents are required to wear masks when entering the church. The Confirmation Candidates will be sitting in their pews until their parent comes into the church.

  • Masks. Are required at all times.

  • Cell Phones. Teens are not permitted to have their cell phones during the session. Please help us with this by keeping your child's phone in the car for the hour they are with us. Corey Lesko, Deacon Mark, and team members will have their phones in case of emergency.

  • Forms. If you have any forms to be turned in, there will be a basket at the check in table for your teens to put them in. Please put all forms in an envelope with your teens name on it and label it Confirmation Forms.

  • The Official Sacramental Registration Form was mailed home to everyone. If you didn't get a copy in the mail it means we do not have your teen registered online for this year of Confirmation preparation. If you have not registered for this year please click here to register online. Since Confirmation is a two year process we need you to register each year for our records.

  • Engagements. We have some homebound residents who would love to get Christmas cards in the mail. Contact Corey Lesko for a homebound resident. Another option is to make Homeless bags with travel size toiletries for Trial of Hope, contact Corey Lesko for more information.
With the Holy Spirit,
The Confirmation Team
