Friday, May 15, 1 PM . “The Tech Sector: Discussing Guidance and Liabilities Regarding Reopening” with Frost, Brown, Todd Attorney Victoria Beckman. FREE. While much of the tech industry will remain in remote work this summer, TALK will discuss the available guidance for re-opening from our state, CDC, and solicit any inputs from participants. Our goal would be to provide this for the tech sector to the Governor as a proposal. TALK and Frost, Brown, Todd will touch on liabilities regarding in-person meetings and gatherings as the state hopes to move to networking meetings for up to 50 people in July.

Tuesday, May 19, 1 PM. Covid19 Tech Community Best Practices hosted by TALK with Chad Foos , Director of Solutions Engineering,  Digital Coast  (aka Sova), A Verizon Wireless Partner. This free TALK virtual session gives tech workers and managers a chance to hear how installation and sales work is going under various reopening guidance, presented from real-world experiences inside the activities of Verizon Wireless Partner, Digital Coast (aka Sova).

Several programs in Louisville offering competitive business accelerators, funding, mentorship and other support to entrepreneurs are joining forces to provide that for startups affected by COVID-19 — and they now have a single starting point at startuplouisville.com/2020programs.
