The Environmental, Health, and Safety Director is the primary point of contact for EHS requirements and activities for the account, and communicates EHS needs and results to the Account Central Leadership Team. S/he plays a lead role in the continued development and refinement of JLL's EHS culture and training programs on the account and provides technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support for all various JLL facilities, (including all acquisitions) on regulatory compliance issues in Environmental Health and Safety. The ideal candidate also provides oversight and alignment for training/presentations as needed on specific topics applicable to the account employees and supports the Sr. VP, National Dir. This position provides strategic leadership and direction for the Dressing, Sauces and Oils business in the following areas of focus: Development and implementation of EHS strategy, maintenance and continuous improvement of EHS results, shaping of the internal EHS culture, management of the external EHS brand and leadership of talent management practices. In addition to leading EHS for DSO, this position will also provide EHS leadership for the Fats & Oils Group globally, and will be a member of the Corporate EHS Leadership Team. The position will require strong technical, interpersonal, intercultural, collaboration and negotiation skills, as well as deep understanding of environmental, health and safety opportunities and challenges in the agribusiness and food sector. A Bachelor's degree or higher (technical or EHS related field) is required along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS leadership with increasing levels of leadership responsibility and demonstrated success in developing proactive EHS strategy, processes and procedures in a multiple facility setting. MA preferred, CEM/CHMM/PE/QEP preferred.

Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

H.O. Penn Machinery, the CATERPILLAR dealer for lower NY and all of CT is currently looking for a Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join their team! This position covers all 5 of our locations within our territory (Poughkeepsie NY, Bloomingburg NY, Bronx NY, Holtsville NY and Newington CT). Reporting to the Vice President of Product Support, you will be responsible for providing safety leadership, compliance with established safety standards, as well as safety programs that promote a safe and accident free work environment, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies such as OSHA, MSHA, DOT, etc., and ensuring appropriate (and applicable to our industry) safety programs are in place such as quarterly safety meetings, weekly safety topics, safety glasses, respiratory protection, lock out/tag out, lift truck certification, etc. Five plus years of experience in an environmental, health, or safety position is required along with the following certifications: Board certified safety professional (CSP) / HAZWOPER 40 hour certified / OSHA 10 or 30 construction certified. A Bachelor's degree in any of the natural sciences, engineering, public health is a plus. Knowledge/experience with heavy construction activities a plus.
