First, I'd like to say a special thanks to our dancers and their families for their support at New Years Needham today. Having you there was so much fun!
The event was fantastic! There were almost 400 people in attendance, standing room only, and that is a true testiment to our studio and the families and supporters who make up AFDS. We love having you as a part of our family and appreciate you coming out to support us at this event. When I was approached at the end by Non-AFDS families, they said things like, "thrilled and impressed", "inspired", "wish it didn't end so soon", and much more. They were excited about our message of confidence and kindness and thought the choreography was top notch. I hope you are all as pleased as I am.
Secondly, the company dancers who performed at NYN were not only enthusiastic, but they were professional, hard working and entertaining. Miss Alyson and I are extremely proud of you all! You made it happen and with only 1 rehearsal this morning, where you learned a brand new dance too! WOW! You rocked! In addition, I'd like to say a thank you to the parents who volunteered to help drive, do make up, hair and help back stage. Words cannot express my appreciation.
Last but certainly not least, I'd like to recognize and specifically thank the following company dancers who participated in the 2012 New Years Needham performance.
