Early voting is open! This is one of the most important elections of our lifetimes. Find your early polling place and take a look at your district's sample ballot to find out who's running. If you're voting absentee, track your ballot here and make sure your ballot is postmarked by June 22.

YOU CAN VOTE EARLY:

⏰ June 16 and 17: 10AM - 8PM

⏰ June 18: 7AM – 4PM

⏰ June 19: 8AM - 5PM

⏰ June 20: 8AM - 4PM

💥 Candidates for most of NYC's local government will be chosen in this election! Primary elections for citywide offices including Mayor, Comptroller, and Public Advocate, and local offices including Borough President, District Attorney, and City Council. Learn more about the candidates!

WHAT'S RANKED CHOICE VOTING?

😎 For the first time, instead of choosing ONE candidate to vote for, you can rank up to FIVE of your favorite candidates for each city race.

😎 If no candidate receives more than 50% of first choice votes, candidates with fewer votes will get eliminated and your second through fifth choices may be used to determine a winner. Learn more about how votes are counted!

STUDENT CENTER: #CUNY2021 🎓💫

Darlenis Cabral, City College ’21, credits the many programs and clubs she joined while majoring in sociology with helping her grow, after her family migrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic. Her numerous leadership roles have included participating in the CUNY Malave Leadership Academy and serving as a Board rep for NYPIRG. She will be pursuing a Master of Public Administration.

How did Darlenis get here? She thanks her sociology professors, Gwendolyn Dordick and Jennifer Sloan, for their mentorship and support, as well as CCNY’s Student Affairs Assistant Director Evelyn Ortega. Darlenis is appreciative of many programs and clubs that helped her grow, including Malave, the CUNY Service Corps Puerto Rico, and CCNY’s African Student Union. She credits all of these experiences with equipping her to be a better leader for tomorrow.
