2019 Big Day Of Giving
On the Horizon on May 2
Community Service, At its BEST
Because so many in our region care about the nonprofits that lift up the Sacramento region, generosity will be everywhere during Big Day of Giving on Thursday, May 2 . In six years, caring people in our community have raised over $30 million for nearly 600 organizations on Big Day of Giving. Last year, our region’s annual giving day generated $7.4 million!
Schedule Your Gift Now!
Last year, SGS raised just over $5000 and we believe we can top that this year, and we want you to be a part of the movement! At Sacramento Guitar Society, we promote and share the Art of Guitar — and, with your support during Big Day of Giving on May 2, we will grow our impact in this community.

Serving Our Seniors
This year, we have decided to focus our BDOG events by giving back to our community. We will be visiting several Senior Living Centers to entertain their residents. Members of the Sacramento Guitar Society Orchestra will be performing in small ensembles at multiple locations. This is OUR way of saying THANKS to our community!

How Can You Help ?
BDOG Peer to Peer Fundraising
This year, the sponsors of BDOG, have given us the capability of peer-to-peer fundraising. Each individual, just like you, can start their own campaign and then SHARE it via your own emails and/or social media. So go ahead, write the story of why you support SGS in your own campaign and share it with your friends so they can join you as a patron of the arts in our community. With your help, SGS can win prizes for successful campaigns. But we can't do it without you, so give it a try and get started now. It's easy.

Pledge Matching Funds
You could have a HUGE impact on our BDOG fundraising efforts by pledging to MATCH other donors' gifts up to a maximum that you are comfortable with. No need to pay now, just make your pledge and we will inform you at the end of the BDOG. Double your donation by pledging to match others' gifts.

We will be sending you more BDOG 2019 info in the next few weeks. So Stay tuned! If you have any questions, please email me at lwilliams@SacramentoGuitarSociety.org. Thank you!
Coming Up...
SGS Spring Concert
Don't miss the Spring Concert on Sunday, May 19, at 3:00 p.m. The Sacramento Guitar Society Orchestra will be performing their season's collection of new pieces. Jack Cimo will be here to share his joy of the Guitar with all of you!

Every nonprofit organization relies on impassioned volunteers to make things happen. SGS has a finite number of recurring tasks that we could use your help with. Whether you have only 1 hr/month or 2 hrs/week, we would be grateful for your help.  Click here to Volunteer  and I will contact you to discuss details.

Thank you, and hope to see you at all of our upcoming concerts!
