Nantucket Clam Shack will offer "New England Style Summer Fare inspired from Maine to Montauk".
Nantucket Clam Shack
5014 Connecticut Ave, NW

Opening this Monday for takout and delivery, Nantucket Clam Shack will be serving up "New England style summer fare from the island of Nantucket down to the tip of Montauk" This ghost kitchen, or virtual restaurant, comes from the team that brought us I'm Eddie Cano , inspired by Chef James's tenure on Nantucket island and the East End of Long Island. This fast-growing, virtual restaurant concept is a departure from a 'traditional' restaurant model in that it focuses exclusively on takeout and delivery, without a physical space for in-person dining.

Natucket Clam Shack will share I'm Eddie Cano's kitchen, and their existing 5014 Connecticut Ave space will serve as the pickup and delivery location. Look forward to a menu offering Lobster Rolls, Fried Clams, Clam Dip, Fish & Chips, Key Lime Pie, Orange Crush sodas and Lobster Roll and Clam Bake kits to prepare at home. Wine and beer are also available. Here's a look at the initial menu with a few changes still to come: menu .

Welcome to the neighborhood, we look forward to a summer feast very soon!

Opens this Monday for takeout/curbside pickup

Muchas Gracias
5029 Connecticut Avenue, NW

Starting today! Celebrated Chef Christian Irabién's popular pop-up Muchas Gracias now offers lunch service featuring a fresh new line-up of gourmet burritos.
Priced at $12 each, the new menu includes Camote, Short Rib Birria, Chicken Tinga Roja, Chorizo Con Papas, and Carnitas Chihuahua burritos. Pair with housemade agua fresca of the day, or an ice cold Modelo cerveza. Chef Irabién will also be offering his housemade “FTS” fermented habanero and carrot hot sauce along with the burritos.

As our pop-up pivots and adapts along with our neighborhood, we strive to continue providing delicious Mexican flavors while ensuring to keep our team and our patrons safe" , said Executive Chef Christian Irabién of Muchas Gracias.

Growing up in Northern Mexico and West Texas, burritos were - and continue to be - a mainstay staple in the way my family and I eat. This meal, originating in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, wrapped in a toasty flour tortilla is aptly named after a burro — or donkey — because of the way it can carry so much in a tortilla the way a burro can lift or carry on its back. It’s not only nostalgic to me, but also such familiar fare even this far up north in the States. We are excited to fill them with flavors that represent the Muchas Gracias identity well and share them with all of our guests.”

Thanks to the team at Muchas Gracias, we were lucky enough to sample these delicious new burritos yesterday and we can report they're a super-delicious addition to the neighborhood!
