A word from the CEO: "A Bold New Year of Empowerment and Growth"

As we step into a promising new year, I am filled with gratitude and anticipation for the impactful journey ahead. For nearly five decades, Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta has been a beacon of empowerment, serving over 135,000 girls and their families. Together, we’ve built a legacy of fostering strength, intelligence, and boldness in the lives of young women and girls.

This past year, we deepened our commitment to holistic development, providing community mental health and therapy services that address the challenges our youth face in today’s complex world. Girls Inc expanded our wrap-around services to meet the diverse needs of families, ensuring that every girl we serve has a solid foundation of support. Through our parent and family engagement programs, we’ve strengthened partnerships between families and communities, fostering environments where every girl can thrive.

We’re also proud of the strides we’ve made in workforce development programs for young women aged 15 to 24. By equipping them with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to excel in today’s competitive landscape, we’re opening doors to brighter futures.

This year, we are setting our sights even higher. We will be increasing our community wrap-around services and expanding into new communities across the Metro Atlanta area, bringing our mission to even more families in need. Additionally, we’re thrilled to announce a renewed focus on STEAM programs. These programs will ignite curiosity and innovation in girls, broadening their

horizons and preparing them for the careers of tomorrow.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, community and business partners. Your belief in our mission fuels our work, and your generosity ensures that we can continue to empower the next generation of strong, smart, and bold leaders.

As we embrace the opportunities of this new year, I invite you to continue walking this journey with us. Whether through your time, resources, or advocacy, your partnership is vital. Together, we can expand our reach, deepen our impact, and create a brighter future for every girl.

With gratitude and hope,

Tiffany M. Collie-Bailey

Program Highlight: Marietta Center

At the end of the semester, we hosted a joyful Holiday Cheers Celebration, filled with excitement and gratitude. A highlight of the event was a surprise from Ms. Tahnicia Phillips, a special guest and former Girls Inc. participant, who gifted each girl with a present from their holiday wish lists.

Inspired by her recent election victory and an earlier visit to the program, Ms. Phillips wanted to give back to the girls. Her thoughtful gesture made the holiday season even more memorable, showing the power of giving and the importance of supporting one another in the community.
