  • Chamber Orchestra is currently engaging weekly in the very important professional practices (21st Century Skills) of critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. The work is focused around identifying challenges in the music we are preparing, creating strategies for meeting those challenges, and designing “indicators” of what success looks like and sounds like. Information generated is being applied to the weekly agenda for student-led sectionals. The end goal is refined performance, and students who are able to carry these practiced professional arts skills into the musical world outside of the confines of the classroom. Stay tuned for the roll-out of something similar in Symphonic Orchestra soon!
