A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!!
I PRAY all were able to watch the above MIRACLE OF LOVE!!!
I received this call to LOVE last week as I was BLESSED and HONORED to officiate this MIRACLE OF LOVE!!!
This MIRACLE OF LOVE, this WEDDING took place in the ICU ward of Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
The beautiful bride wanted to marry the man of her dreams and TIME was of the essence!!! He had and has but a few days left in THIS life.
I arrived there shortly before 1:00 PM to this tiny ICU room, barely 8X8.
There lay the groom, two oxygen masks on, and SMILING broadly.
Soon the tiny room was filled with family, nursing staff, and hospital chaplains who had marvelously decorated the TINY room festively!!!!
The bride was also elated at the occasion and I wept silently as the scene unfolded before my amazed eyes.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”
