Here at MCH, we are seeing some of the highest numbers of COVID positive patients, since the pandemic began.
Across the state of NH, there were an average of 228 cases per day over the most recent 7-day period (August 11-August 17).This represents nearly 50% increase compared to the previous, 7-day period.
NH's overall risk-level for COVID-19 transmission remains at SUBSTANTIAL(highest level).

Please be patient. This recommendation is new. Across NH, details around the availability and scheduling of a 3rd dose remains a work in-progress. We'll let you know as soon as those details become available.
In the meantime, thank you for being patient. Please also maintain hand hygiene and physical distancing, whenever possible. Mask wearing remains a very important deterrent.
People inquiring about a third dose can also reach out to a local pharmacy, or online at www.vaccines.nh.govto monitor options throughwww.vaccines.gov.
Visitor Restrictions
are in place at MCH
Please Note: While visitor restrictions remain in place throughout our hospital, our Emergency Department treats all presenting patients.
Visitors who arrive with patients to our Emergency Department will be asked to wait outside.
Exceptions include end-of-life care, where one (healthy, 18yo+) person may accompany the patient.
To prevent fainting and injuries related to fainting, your child should be seated or lying down during vaccination and for 15 minutes after the vaccine is given.
After your child’s COVID-19 vaccination, you will be asked to stay for 15–30 minutes so your child can be observed in case they have a severe allergic reaction and need immediate treatment.
MCH fully endorses the CDC's guideline and
urges parents to vaccinate their children.
Please Note:
Masks are mandatory for everyone entering MCH's campus or off-site Practices,
No Exceptions.
