Effectively immediately, all BIASC offices will be closed to the general public and all in person meetings will be cancelled for the next two weeks until 3/31/20. We are confident that this is a temporary measure to help ensure everyone’s health during this difficult time.
Our staff will continue to maintain a full work schedule, which will include a new online video conferencing system for all members to utilize as needed. This new online system is very user friendly and will be formerly introduced to all members next week.
In addition, we will also be conducting a review of all our upcoming events to better ensure our attendees and employees are protected with the appropriate health safety standards. We have and will continue to cooperate with state and local government health agencies as these safety standards are continually changing. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we continue to move forward as an organization.
Our events, advocacy, and education programs will remain our focus as we continue to provide these invaluable services under these new and different circumstances. We will continue to plan for future events, educate our members, and advocate on behalf of our industry.
