Nishat Bhuiyan, Brooklyn College ’22, is a first-gen college student who developed a passion for marketing after the internship she did with the National Society of Leadership and Success. This led to similar opportunities with CUNY and the NYC Department for the Aging. Nishat gained additional experience as a peer mentor, a peer transfer adviser and the secretary of Smooth Talkers, a Brooklyn College club that helps prepare students for professional interviews.
Nishat's Advice: "Time flies by really fast. Join clubs, attend campus events or volunteer — engage in activities that you prefer because once time is gone, it’s gone."
