IPM Community Appreciation Picnic:
Food, Fun, Fellowship, Bluegrass
We were thrilled with the response to our Community Appreciation Day on Sept. 21! Despite the heat wave provided by Mother Nature on the last day of summer, nearly 70 IPM community partners, volunteers, clients and staff members all gathered together at our Amelia pantry.

We enjoyed a delicious picnic spread, chatting and connecting while listening to bluegrass music provided by Wayne Luessen and Emily Hogeback's Family Band. HealthSource of Ohio provided free biometric screenings to those who attended, and guests of an artistic bent shared their impressions of IPM on mini-canvases.

"My favorite part was seeing everyone talking and getting to know the culture of our community," said IPM Program Director Nicole Gordon, who organized the event.

We're Gearing Up for IPM's Christmas Store!
In the manner of a renowned bearded holiday icon, IPM is assembling its 2022 Christmas Store list and checking it twice.

One of our largest service events of the year, IPM’s Christmas Store brings holiday cheer to hundreds of families in an empowering way. Last year’s Christmas Store enabled 400 families to choose gifts their children wanted for a nominal fee.

This year, we’re hoping to meet or beat that number with your help! Our festive Christmas Store, which will be held again at Crossroads East Side Church Dec. 13-15, is a massive undertaking which would not be possible without the enormous efforts and support of our volunteers and donors.

We will offer two shopping experiences:
·        Santa’s Toy Store, with toys for children ages 0-12 and teens ages 13-18.
·        Santa’s Gifts for Grownups Store, for seniors age 60 and older.

 Scan the QR Codes below for Wish Lists of gift ideas to donate by age categories. We will also publish an Amazon Wish List and categorized toy list on our website, www.interparish.org, along with sign-ups for event volunteer opportunities (Toy Store set-up, client check-ins, shopping with families, etc.).

IPM’s goal is for every family to have a festive, happy holiday by sharing the joy of the season with our neighbors in need.

IPM Launches 2022 Winter Coat Drive
We are now accepting new or gently used coats for all ages and sizes, with a particular need for large sizes for both adults and children.

Thank you for helping to keep our clients warm this winter!
IPM Pantry Needs


Here are the current most-needed items to fill IPM's shelves for our clients:

  • Canned fruit (all kinds)
  • Canned beans: kidney, black, pinto
  • Pasta: spaghetti, egg noodles, etc.
  • Peanut-free granola and snack bars

Please bring donations to:
Newtown Pantry from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Wednesday;
Amelia Pantry from noon-4 p.m. Thursday-Friday.
