Theatre for A New Audience is honored to host a celebration of Andrew Weems (1961-2019). The celebration will take place at Polonsky Shakespeare Center on Monday, February 17 at 7:00PM.

Andrew was a beloved member of the TFANA family, where he notably worked over many years on productions including Darrah Cloud's Mud Angel , directed by Kevin Kuhlke ; Carlo Gozzi's The Green Bird , directed by Julie Taymor; Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida , directed by Sir Peter Hall; Shakespeare's Cymbeline , directed by Bartlett Sher; and John Ford's The Broken Heart , directed by Selina Cartmell.

Please join us as family, friends, and colleagues gather to remember Andrew in an evening of tributes, readings, and music. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to share reflections. A reception will follow in the lobby.

The KATTAIKKUTTU SANGAM is a not-for-profit association of professional Kattaikkuttu performers.

Founded in 1990 by Kattaikkuttu actor, director, teacher and playwright P. Rajagopal together with theatre scholar Hanne M. de Bruin and fifteen Kattaikkuttu actors and musicians, this grassroots initiative unites performers across styles and regions.

Drama Club is an innovative non-profit organization that provides theatre programming and positive mentorship to young people who are incarcerated or court-involved in New York City.
