One Ride Can Change a Child's Future

When we launched our Safe Journeys Start Here campaign, we set out to ensure that no child misses the care they need because they can't get to SafeSpot.

Today, we're extending our campaign because the need is still urgent, and we need your help.

Every week, children and families rely on SafeSpot Children's Advocacy Center for trauma therapy, forensic interviews, family advocacy, and other critical services after experiencing abuse. But for too many families, simply getting to an appointment can be one of the biggest challenges they face.



A lack of reliable transportation shouldn't determine whether a child receives the support they need to heal.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help provide transportation for children and families traveling to SafeSpot. We haven't reached that goal yet, but it's not too late to make a difference. Every gift, no matter the size, helps remove a barrier to healing and brings a child one step closer to the care they deserve.

“Therapy helps me so much. I have had a lot of struggles in my life, but having someone to talk too about them has made it easier for me to see my future. I do not have privacy where I live. I share a room with my cousins and often the only place I have privacy is the bathroom, so coming to SafeSpot is best for me. I am a high school student and even though I work part time, I could not afford to Uber to therapy every week. If SafeSpot did not give transportation, I would not be able to come to therapy.”
