The Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy is hosting its big advocacy day, a Day for All People, on January 17. This is a great opportunity to learn about justice and make a difference in laws that affect our community. Meet with legislators about paid sick days, no-cost communication in prisons, increasing affordable housing, and other important issues. Day for All People will start at 8:30 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. Register before January 1 for $30; after, the fee is $40. The event takes place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Richmond); a virtual option is available. |
