| | Let's talk about thread by Wonderfil ... a Canadian company... | | We've restocked and added new colours in both Konfetti and Invisafil PLUS added variegated Tutti to our stock! | | Konfetti™ is 50wt, 3-ply, double-gassed and mercerized Egyptian cotton with a gorgeously soft, clean, and lustrous finish. This super low lint thread is gaining popularity with our customers - give it a try and tell us what you think. | | We now have Tutti™ super low lint 50wt, 3-ply Egyptian cotton thread, double-gassed and mercerized in variegated colours. Tutti makes it easy to add multiple colours to your quilting for a little fun. | | |
InvisaFil™, is a remarkable silk-like 100wt, 2-ply cottonized polyester. It is ultra-fine, surprisingly strong with negligible stretch and softness in the hand. InvisaFil virtually “disappears”, making it the ultimate choice for creating texture when micro quilting, applique, or whenever you don’t want your stitching to
show.
Next time you’re in the shop, ask us to show you one of our many sample where Invisafil is used.

From your beloved Editor ....
Can you believe we're talking about Christmas collections already? Do you quilters work with a different calendar than the rest of us?
Speaking of the calendar, the biggest event of 2026 is fast approaching - Celebrate You! There will be refreshments, cake, door prizes and much merriment and frivolity. Not since the arrival of the first tractor with an internal combustion engine has there been so much excitement for an event held in Uxbridge. Now, I know what many of you are wondering - will Assistant Editor Murphy be there? Sadly, no. But I will, so please pretend to be happy to see me.
See you on Thursday.
