Explore innovative ideas about creating learning environments to propel schools beyond 21st century learning. School leaders from across the world will share best practices and strategies for navigating change. 
Mastery Transcript

This track aims to provoke thinking about what learning and assessment could be.  Speakers will explore alternative models of assessment, crediting, and transcript generation, while focusing on how to create better learning environments for students.  
Personalized Learning

Each and every child has the potential to become great and do great things. This track will take a deep dive to better understand the passions and strengths of the individual child, aimed at shifting from traditional to a more innovative, student-centered approach. 
Fundraising and Development

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) will be leading breakout sessions geared towards engaging your entire school community in fundraising efforts. Learn how to create a game plan for building a fundraising team, utilizing board members as the most valuable players and how to encourage alumni, parents, and the community to support your school. 
University President's Forum 

The Presidents of Chaminade University, University of Hawai'i and Hawai'i Pacific University will come together for a panel discussion facilitated by HAIS Executive Director, Phil Bossert, to discuss what our local universities have to offer and how they are shifting to better accommodate today's learners. 

Bob Peters and Randy Moore will spend an hour discussing how to create partnerships with board members and establish productive relationships. They will also discuss how the board chair and head of school can effectively work as a team and where the board roles and responsibilities intersect. 
Ask the Funders

Join the leaders from the Hawai'i Community Foundation, HKL Castle Foundation, and Sam & Mary Castle Foundation as they talk about what they look for in choosing to fund an organization. This is the perfect opportunity for schools to ask questions and learn from the experts, as HAIS Executive Director, Phil Bossert, facilitates this Panel Discussion. 

The Enrollment Management Association (EMA) will be leading breakout sessions to further discuss the HAIS Standard Application, its benefits, how to use important features, and more! This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about this new HAIS service and what it could mean for enrollment at your school.
