Get to Know Artist Charly Palmer

Only on Pigment International's YouTube Channel

Pigment International made a visit to artist Charly Palmer's Atlanta studio in April. In this video he discusses stepping into his destiny, what spirit tells him, 'helping Black folks', mentoring a new generation of artists, and how their work excites him.

In a career that spans more than 30 years, Palmer says, "I want to buy my freedom." And what will that freedom accord him? The ability to create his masterpiece, learn what that is.

And Palmer tells why he embraces Lincoln's quote, "All that I am or will ever be I owe to my mother."
