In a career that spans more than 30 years, Palmer says, "I want to buy my freedom." And what will that freedom accord him? The ability to create his masterpiece, learn what that is.
And Palmer tells why he embraces Lincoln's quote, "All that I am or will ever be I owe to my mother."
