You are invited to join us for a three-night series of storytelling that heals. Each night story, group activity, personal reflection, and caring community will provide us with a gentle space to explore our own growth and healing as we enter this new spring season.

“Story Mittens”     Sheila Dobson , teacher, facilitator, and artist in acrylic and textiles has created a body of work called Story Mittens, as a personal response to the experience of having cancer. Story Mittens don’t match but they talk to each other and tell us a story. As we listen to her ordinary story of extraordinary things learn how to create your own watercolour painted mittens.

“They Don’t Have a Card for That”    Sue Williams , RN, PSW educator, former Administrator of River Glen Haven nursing home and retired Executive Director of Hospice Georgina will share her story of overcoming many life challenges and the wisdom that keeps her going. How do you find the courage and resiliency to trust in the unfolding of your own journey? Engage in creating your own “they don’t have a card for that” as we name the gifts and learnings of our own lives.
