Cards of Care Campaign

Join us in our Cards of Care Campaign . Now through the month of April, we will we be collecting cards for health care workers, first responders, the elderly community and hospitalized kids.

Sometimes a simple thank you and note of appreciation lifts the spirits of those who may need it most at this uncertain time.

Complete your cards and mail them to us. We have reached out to various hospitals, police stations and assisted living facilities that are ready and more than willing to receive the cards. (Cards will also remain in quarantine for several days before delivery.)

Spreading Kindness

As we guide our children through this difficult time, families are finding themselves wondering how to get through these days of isolation while still spreading some kindness and sunshine to those we hold dear. Click on the link below for some ideas.
National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer Month. This month is dedicated to honoring all of the volunteers in our communities as well as encouraging volunteerism throughout the year.

Our amazing Giving Tree volunteers are THE heart of our organization. We simply could not function without them. We thank them for their dedication to our mission.

This month... especially with all that is happening in the world... please remember to thank the volunteers of your community.

Celebrate Earth Day
April 22nd

April is the perfect time to remind ourselves of how we can do our part in taking care of this amazing planet we call home. Check out this list of ways to do our part in taking care of Mother Earth. (Some of the items listed are for when we go back to normal life again.)

Make Earth Day every day!   You could even print out the page and post it on the fridge. (But promise us you will recycle the paper when you are done!)

National Gardening Month

April is National Gardening Month. Are you planning on a garden for the summer? Especially now that we have a little extra time on our hands.

Please consider growing a little extra to share. Food pantries and soup kitchens are always in need of fresh produce for their clients. Reach out to us if you are looking for a food pantry near you.

Amazon Shopping?

In-kind donations are always needed and very much appreciated. Check out our Amazon Wish List!
