PEPS friends,

I’m so happy to greet you this month! I’m the Deputy Director at PEPS, which means I oversee the behind the scenes things that keep our organization running, like Technology, Finance, HR, Communications and our facilities too. We've been talking about new beginnings at PEPS this year, and a new beginning I'm excited to share with you is that we have two new office locations. PEPS HQ is at the Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford, and North Seattle has been home to PEPS for more than 35 years, but we've long since served parents outside the neighborhood. These days you can sign up for a PEPS Group from Renton to Lynnwood, Seattle to Snoqualmie and everywhere in between! Over the last few years we've been working to provide more outward-facing connection between PEPS Staff and the community. We have been hosting leader trainings and events in community spaces on the Eastside, South Seattle and South Snohomish County. We recognized that we also need more space for our growing staff that is closer to home - so we can hire and work with folks from all the communities we're serving.

We're thrilled that we've rented space in South Seattle at 2200 Rainer Avenue South, where we'll host leader trainings, events and PEPS Groups and have space for our south-end employees to work. We're also thrilled to be close neighbors with our friends at ParentTrust. Thanks to a partnership with The Riveter, we now have a dedicated desk at their Bellevue location for Eastside staff to work out of, and we'll be using their beautiful conference rooms for our Eastside Leader Trainings.

ParentTrust and The Riveter are both incredible partners and both spaces are accessible and centrally located in the communities we serve. We hope you get a chance to visit us soon!

Enjoy all the news and resources in this newsletter, and here’s to another new beginning.

What PEPS parents are saying this month…

“(PEPS) helped me to not feel isolated, both physically by being in a room with so many people who were in the same boat as me, and emotionally because we were all struggling with the same sets of feelings.”

GiveBig 2019
GiveBIG - An Annual Day of Community Giving

A big, heartfelt thank you to all who joined us on May 8th for the region's largest day of charitable giving!

GiveBIG is an annual online day of giving for local nonprofits, including us! Funds raised this year will go towards supporting our mission to bring PEPS Groups to more families in King and Snohomish Counties.

PEPS supporters gave so generously this year, helping us to raise almost $6,000! Your support ensures that ALL parents have access to a community of support when they start their families.
PEPS Group Leaders
Did you know...

We offer more than 250 groups to families like yours living from Renton to Lynnwood and Seattle Snoqualmie and everywhere in between?

Each of those groups are led by a Group Leader who goes through 4 hours of training and receives a comprehensive leader manual, ongoing support, evaluations AND continuous learning opportunities from PEPS.

If you’re looking for a way to get involved with PEPS or know someone who is, being a Group Leader is one way to share your knowledge and time with new parents! Learn more here and we look forward to seeing you at one of our trainings!
