The CUNY Day of Remembrance, held yesterday at City College, provided the first opportunity for our entire University community to mourn collectively and pay tribute to those lost in the pandemic.

This CUNY community college has landed the highest number of prestigious Mellon/ACLS faculty fellowships in the nation! Read about the faculty winners' unique contributions to humanities research.

And another community college received a public diplomacy grant to support its crucial climate change work in India, which will involve monitoring air quality and conducting workshops to audiences of over 5,000 participants.

This resilient Iraq War veteran is graduating from CUNY with a 4.0 GPA and a dream: to empower other women veterans and students with disabilities to chase their ambitions.

We can’t wait to celebrate the Class of ’22 🎓 and want to profile the most inspirational students. Use this form to nominate someone (including yourself, don't be shy)!

Stephanie Hinck, Hunter College ’20 and Baruch College ’22, is on her way to mastering the psychology of business. After exploring several sectors of science, she found her calling in industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology. She prepared for her career through an internship with Hunter’s Skirball Science Learning Center and by working as a research assistant at Guttman Community College’s Center for College Effectiveness. Stephanie will soon graduate with a Master of Science and begin her dream job as an HR operations analyst at NBCUniversal.
Stephanie’s advice: “You just have to put yourself out there! Take a class that challenges you, attend info sessions and talk to your classmates about their career goals. Your time at CUNY goes by so fast, so use it wisely to find out what your dream future is!”
