Dear Friend of DKT,
Did you know that around 70% of DKT's global budget is covered by the revenues generated from the sale of contraceptives? We are very proud to achieve this measure of sustainability, certainly one of the highest among family planning organizations worldwide.
However, we still need support from donors and partners. The donations and grants we receive are critical to the hard work of educating young people, training health providers, and reaching 'last mile' distribution outlets to ensure our products are available and accessible.
We invite you to support our work at this time of year. We don't have a huge fundraising machine in place and our overheads in Washington, DC are low (we have only 12 people in our DC office!). Indeed, less than 2% of our global budget covers overhead costs in DC, including fundraising. In short, a donation to DKT is a gift that will be deployed where it is needed -- helping women and men make the choices they want to access safe abortion and contraception. You can donate
here
or send a check to our DC office.
We wish you a happy holiday season and, as always, thank you for your support

DKT Philippines gets involved in the
dating scene
|
|
DKT launched its first-ever ad featured within a dating app in the Philippines, promoting condoms, lube, and safe sex to people looking for love on 85 of the most popular dating apps, including SKOUT, Tagged, and Grindr. The ad is even interactive, featuring a woman whose smile grows wider as the user moves a slider from left to right under the tagline ‘Slide into More Pleasure’. More informative ads about safe sex practices are in the works also, to help combat a recent surge in HIV infections in the Philippines.
