Habitat's 75th Home is Complete!

We had a beautiful home dedication last month! May purchased and received the keys to her home and moved in immediately! Her new home is in a peaceful setting in Hanover County.

Thanks to Wegmans, she has a full pantry and fridge. No need to worry about groceries for a while! Hamilton Beach donated multiple small appliances. Abner Baptist Church blessed her with numerous housewarming baskets. Thank you to Virginia Housing, Richmond Regional Planning District Commission, and Partnership for Housing Affordability for the support we received from the PDC Housing Development Program.

Annual Report

Check out our fiscal year 2022 annual report to see our impact by the numbers and impactful events from July 2021 through June 2022. Thank you to everyone who made this work possible. We are excited to continue to grow and serve more in the coming year.

Faith Build

Faith Build is a way that we partner with other faith-based organizations and businesses in the community. Church groups, and friends of the faith community, will gather to help build and fund a home for a local family on a lot beside one of our Ashland church partners!

We are inviting area congregations to put their faith into action by getting involved in this local mission work. We want organizations to choose a way to support Habitat - serve, pray, and/or give.

Learn more about Faith Build online and consider how your congregation can help! An email to faith organizations will be coming within the next month!

It's that time again! We're entering ANOTHER can competition through Novelis. Stock up on your aluminum cans and bring them to the ReStore!

In the last competition, we collected 2,026 pounds between May and July. Then, we recycled the aluminum and raised $1,325.70! Novelis granted us $3,000 on top of those funds for participating and for collecting over a thousand pounds - THANK YOU Novelis!

Help us collect even MORE this time! The competition runs from September through the end of November.

Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity is a participating charity in the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC).
