PHP 2026 BALLOT INTIATIVE
Following our successful member lunch last week, we have announced our plans to bring an initiative to the 2026 ballot. Our goal to restore democratic oversight to Pasadena's rental housing industry is gaining significant interest.
As you know, Proposition 33 was defeated statewide. But here in Pasadena, with our firsthand experience of unelected, unaccountable activists devaluing property and calling it rent control, voters rejected the measure by 12 points!
It is now time to give the voters a chance to fix what's wrong with Measure H and we need your input. Over the next few months we'll be polling Pasadena's voters to understand how best to restore fairness and transparency to Pasadena's rental housing industry. Online and in-person gatherings will give owners and property managers plenty of opportunities to tell us what you want.
We need you to get involved by spreading the word to other property owners and donating $10 per unit, per month. Political momentum is on our side, and we now need to make the change from a group of volunteers to hiring paid professionals. Your donations will help multi-family property owners achieve the fairness and equity we need to stay in business.
