Honoring the Scotton Family...
Join Us at the Proudly Pro-Life Dinner to Honor Them!
As the year winds down, I am reminded about one of our greatest successes of 2018, the adoption-focused documentary film I Lived on Parker Avenue . In March, we released I Lived on Parker Avenue through our media arm Joie De Vivre Media , and it has had phenomenal success! Hundreds of thousands of people have viewed the film across the globe, and we have heard rave reviews from as far away as the Philippines and Australia. We presented the film live to more than 10,000 high school students, and that doesn't count many high schools that played the film on their own. Recently, we have been showing the film in New York City, including to 600+ middle school students in the Bronx.

But I Lived on Parker Avenue would not have been possible without David Scotton and his family. And we are excited on Jan. 10 to honor Metairie natives David, his parents Jimmy and Susan, and his grandparents Roy and Gail Daigle, with our 2019 Proudly Pro-Life Award at our annual Proudly Pro-Life Dinner in Kenner.

David and his family have labored for years without a dollar of compensation to share the beauty of adoption through their story. They have opened up their lives for the betterment of others. We appreciate all they have done and will continue to do! Please join us on Jan. 10 in Kenner for our Proudly Pro-Life Dinner to help us honor the Scotton Family!

For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

Last week the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the appeals of Louisiana and Kansas, who were challenging lower courts’ decisions to prevent the states from excluding Planned Parenthood as a Medicaid contractor. Louisiana Right to Life is disappointed with the decision and believes Louisiana should be able to determine how its tax dollars are spent.
The Louisiana Life March events begin in just over a month, but you can get your 2019 Life March themed T-shirt now. You can wear it to the march nearest you and all year long to show others your support for life!
