Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston humbly asks for your prayers and support for a beloved family within our Metropolis community who recently experienced a devastating tragedy.
On May 4th, a sudden house fire destroyed the family’s home of nearly seven years. What began in the garage quickly spread due to strong winds and dry conditions, causing catastrophic damage throughout the residence and leaving the home uninhabitable. By the grace of God, the family escaped safely, together with their three children — James, Michael, and Nina — as well as their two dogs.
As they begin navigating the difficult road ahead, the family is currently living day to day in temporary hotel accommodations while working through the early stages of the insurance process. In addition to the emotional toll of this tragedy, they are now facing significant unexpected expenses and challenges, especially after recently returning to work following the birth of their youngest child.
During moments such as these, our faith reminds us of the importance of compassion, generosity, and standing beside one another in times of need. We invite the faithful throughout our Metropolis to keep this family in your prayers and, if you are able, to offer support as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives and home.

May our Lord continue to strengthen and protect this family, and may the love of our extended Metropolis family bring them comfort and hope in the days ahead.
