I know I had a good week when I don't want it to be the weekend so we could continue working on THIS AWESOMENESS!!! Think I'm excited?
If tweets are any indication, Nikki Yanofsky is clearly excited for her fans to hear some brand-spanking-new music!
As of November 2011, Nikki finished tracking vocals to the songs on her eagerly anticipated 2nd Album for Decca/UMG, to be released in Spring 2012.
Produced by Martin Terefe (I'm Yours, Hey Soul Sister), the follow-up to her certified GOLD debut is influenced by the U.K pop sound of artists like Lily Allen & Adele with the American flavour of Jazz & Motown.
As you know, Nikki spent the better part of 2011 co-writing with industry veterans such as Eg White, James Bryan, Natasha Bedingfield & Martin Terefe. The album also features a special song written for Nikki by the one and only Diane Warren.
The songs on the album find Nikki maturing as a songwriter, but focus on a sound with lyrical themes that are representative of her personality and experiences over the last few years.

Tour w/Il Divo
IL DIVO, the world's foremost classical crossover quartet has invited Nikki Yanofsky on the Canadian leg of their North American 2012 arena tour, presented by AEG Live. This world tour is in support of their new album Wicked Game. Nikki will bring her incandescent performances to 12 dates with the multi-PLATINUM selling quartet across Canada. Nikki is thrilled to be performing 2 shows with the the 66-piece Orchestre Symphonique de Quebec in April of 2012! Although no stranger to orchestras, it always excites Nikki when she gets to perform in her home province . . . A world class symphony is just a bonus! The Orchestre symphonique de Qu�bec celebrated its 100th anniversary on October 3, 2002, marking its place as Canada's oldest symphony. Recognized as one of the main driving forces of musical activity in the Quebec City region, the Orchestre plays before some 400,000 people each year.
