"One of the initiatives at the Encounter School of Ministry is to create opportunities for evangelization and community building. Last week we joined together with the Catholic Councils of Women (CCW) of Holy Faith and St Patrick, and provided a meal for the new Neophytes. At this event, someone mentioned that they were not aware of our upcoming event and I realized at that moment that I have been missing a very important part of our initiative and this is to bring everyone in, especially those who serve or want to serve. So, I would like to invite you to be a part of the event."
Here is our invitation, albeit pretty short notice (that will not happen again). Come, join us this Friday April 24 for what we call A Night of Praise Under the Stars. The evening includes about 2 hours of Praise and Worship, Finger Foods, beverages, and prayer. This is an evangelization opportunity and as community we can change the atmosphere!
How can you participate? Great question! Depending on your ministry/activity level, perhaps you can help with setup and break down, or bring some finger foods to share, or help with serving the food, and of course joining us in worshiping our Lord.
