Tau Brothers Remember Charlie:
"Charlie was one of the kindest, most giving people I've ever met. I had the honor of working alongside him for more than 30 years. His unique sense of humor always made me laugh, and I have nothing but the best memories of him. He loved being a Kappa Sig and deeply cared about his sons, James and Zach. Everyone he worked with throughout his long career respected him and were proud to call him their friend."

"We all have our gifts. Charlie's was his kindness and unflappability. Without fail, Charlie brought a sense of calm and a good heart to every situation."

"Charlie was a dear friend to me and my family. We shared everyday pleasures -- watching John Wayne movies, going to ball games, hunting, or shooting skeet. We also shared life-changing events. Not only were we in each other's weddings, Charlie was with me the day my daughter was born and the day my father died. He and his family welcomed us into their home, and he was always welcome in ours. Our families got to know each other and also became close. I'm so grateful that he and I followed our dads by choosing to pledge Tau Chapter of Kappa Sigma. My life has been enriched for 40+ years because of my dear friend, Charlton H. Wood!"
