Dear Valued Partners and Friends of Healey International Relief Foundation:
It is with mixed feelings of gratitude and nostalgia that I write this message, acknowledging the significant contributions and heartfelt service of our esteemed Executive Director, Ben Parra.
As most of you are aware,Ben shared the news of his upcoming retirement from his role as Executive Director at the end of this month. Ben's leadership and commitment have been the cornerstones of our organizations development, playing an instrumental role in the growth and success of HealeyIRF.
When he joined us, we were a relatively smaller entity facing a challenging transition. Under his guidance and with the support of our founder, collaborators, and partner organizations, we have evolved into a powerful force for change and growth in Sierra Leone.
The transformations we have seen within our programs, extending our reach and impact, are a testament to his vision and dedication. His tireless efforts have contributed to saving countless lives, a feat that not only marks his tenure but also sets a high benchmark for the years to come.
However, this is not a farewell. While Ben is stepping down from his role, he will continue to be an integral part of our community. His passion, dedication, and resilience have left an indelible mark on our mission and the countless lives we have touched. His lessons and leadership will continue to guide us as we carry forward the noble mission of HealeyIRF.
It brings me great pleasure to announce that Josephine Garnem, a respected professional, humanitarian, and passionate community advocate, will succeed Ben as our new Executive Director. The transition has been a thoughtful and seamless process, and we are confident that Josephine will elevate HealeyIRF to new heights.
We encourage you to reach out to Ben until the end of this month at his HealeyIRF email, or at his personal email in the future, for any inquiries or simply to share a heartfelt message of gratitude.
Finally, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire HealeyIRF family, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Ben for his invaluable contributions to our cause. His passion, resilience, and commitment have been a guiding force for us all. We wish Ben the very best in his retirement and look forward to his continued association with the HealeyIRF community. His tireless service, inspiring leadership, and unwavering commitment to humanity will be greatly missed but his legacy will continue to light our path forward.
Thank you, Ben, for all that you have done and continue to do.
