This November, to recognize our tutors’ and students’ dedication to learning, we will sponsor a showing of
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
at the Flat Rock Playhouse. We are preparing activities for the next 8 months to facilitate our students’ reading the book themselves and with their families.
An April workshop for tutors has been schedule to present you with engaging, multi-leveled materials and activities for students and their families. We hope that this will inspire them to spend time reading together and enrich the experience of seeing these characters come to life in November!

Goal Reporting and Development Workshop
Near the end of each fiscal year, we need tutors to gather information about yearly student accomplishments using our Goal Achievement Report (GAR). This year we will be returning to a simpler GAR form. This workshop will provide instructions on this year's GAR, when to complete it, and how to support your student with effective next steps.
