Preparing the Future Workforce to be ESG-Focused Industry Leaders
Since 2019, CELF has invited green career professionals to join classrooms of students at Lantrip Elementary School in Houston, TX for virtual visits. Together we supported young people in making connections between what they are learning in school to real-world applications and job opportunities. In 2020, we engaged over 300 4th and 5th grade students directly for our Green Careers Speaker series, expanding their perspective of what sustainable practices can look like across various industries.

“It was eye-opening to see how in tune the students are with their future at such a young age by the depth of questions they’ve asked.”
- Drew Burke, Offshore Wind Energy & New Business Developer for Shell's New Energies Business.

Giving Thanks to Our Community of Supporters
We are excited to share that we exceeded our 2020 End-of-Year fundraising goal, raising more than $50,000! With a one-to-one match from First Reserve, that means $100k of support to help thousands of K-12 students develop the systems-thinking skills they need to reinvent the future of a world at risk.
Whether you contributed time, money, or knowledge to this effort, thank you, for all of your support of CELF. Together we can continue to prepare and inspire the future leaders and change makers of our communities.
