This past Saturday we celebrated our 25th Anniversary with a Great Gatsby Gala, and it was GLORY-FILLED!! We invite you to VIEW ALL THE GALA PHOTOS, and if you were with us that night, THANK YOU!! If you weren’t, you have to see the amazing time we had at the iconic Cicada Restaurant & Lounge in downtown LA. We are celebrating that 301 of the most beautiful and loving people gathered, from LA and around the world to catch our vision, enjoy the incredible music, and dance their hearts out. We are praising God for His lavish love, fun and joy that He poured upon all of us. And we’re most excited about what God is going to do in the next 25 years of HPN!

We want to give you the update on Brian Guan and his 30 Day Challenge to see if God is real. On day 20 of his 30 Day Challenge, Brian announced on Instagram that HE HAD FOUND JESUS! Let’s all PRAISE GOD for God’s personal love for Brian and for the Holy Spirit to touch Brian’s heart. And now let’s pray that Brian grows in his faith and has a powerful influence on all of his family, friends, and fans who have been watching his public journey and wondering themselves if all of this is true or not!

Celebrity Evangelist, Dylan Novak, has a heart to reach the people in Hollywood who shape our culture. One person he’s connected with is actress, Bryce Dallas Howard. She is on a spiritual journey and we want to thank the Lord for her openness and for Dylan’s prayers for her. We love Dylans’ ministry and want to thank the Lord for his boldness and we ask that you pray that Bryce is open to the unconditional love of her heavenly father!

HUZ - A NEW DOCUMENTARY ON ANIMATOR RON HUSBAND
We are praising God for Huz, a fabulous documentary on Disney’s first black animator, Ron Husband. Ron is a friend and HPN member and we want to celebrate this story of his extraordinary life as the first black animator for Walt Disney, and a man of God who has influenced people all over the world!. Thank the Lord for this man of God as you watch his story on Disney+.

REMEMBERING DOLLY PARTON
We are grieving the loss of the amazing Dolly Parton, who passed away from cancer, on Tuesday, Aug. 25th at the age of 80. She was a legendary performer, philanthropist and Christian, and we are grateful for the eternal impact she had across the world. Dolly was one of the kindest people our industry has ever known and we want to celebrate her talent, her generous heart and her Christ-like life. She is left behind by family, dear friends, fans and Dollywood - an amusement park in Pigeon Ford, TN that is one of Tennessee’s most visited attractions due to its cultural significance. And Miley Cyrus called her Aunt Dolly and she posted a short tribute to the “Aunt” she loved. Let’s pray for all the people who are mourning Dolly’s passing and praise God that she is with Him now, singing her heart out!

GUARDIANS OF THE VIDEO GAME
A 3D animated feature film based on the video game of the same name, Guardians of the Video Game, is being released in winter of 2026 and has just been picked up for the Toronto Film Festival. It’s a family-friendly story about a guardian banished from the sleek 3D gaming world, and ends up in a pixel-based RPG (Report Program Generator in computer programming language). This incredibly popular video game is expected to bring more young people into theatres this year. Would you pray that this film can draw video gamers out of the house and into the theatres for a more communal storytelling experience!

ZAC ARNOLD
An Instagram Influencer, Zac Arnold, is a friend of Brian Guan and he decided to take Brian up on his challenge to seek God for 30 days. He’s about half way through now and Zac is asking great questions. So, will you pray that Zac also has a personal encounter with Jesus before the end of his 30 days? Zac is open and authentically seeking truth, so we ask that he runs right into the unconditional love of our awesome God! He is so wonderfully honest about his struggles that we hope you listen to Day 2 HERE and then follow his subsequent days HERE.

THE PARAMOUNT SKYDANCE/WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY MERGER….
In February of this year, Paramount Skydance announced an agreement to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) for $110.9 Billion dollars. Paramount owner, David Ellison has surely stirred up the pot and it’s become a divisive battle and quite expensive for both studios for the past six months. Let’s continue to pray that the final decision is best for our industry, its people and its projects. And ultimately, we ask the Lord to turn all of this division, controversy and fear into good!

LUCAS MUSEUM OF NARRATIVE ART
We’re excited to announce the opening of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles on September 22nd. Its extraordinary architecture could be imagined as a Star Wars spaceship, and the museum “explores how narrative art shapes our world - expressing beliefs, communicating values, expanding imagination, and inviting conversation.” Join us in praying that this museum will “illuminate the eyes of all of our imaginations, flooding us with light” so that experiencing this creativity will bring us closer to God.

Miracle Makers International Film Festival, a faith and family friendly festival with intentionally open categories designed to bring people together through meaningful storytelling, returns September 2–6, 2026, at Regal in Newport Beach.
