An exhibit of a Spanish Galleon replica, from the 16th and 17th centuries, is open in the port of Old San Juan.

Named "Galleon", it's the only replica of the historical Spanish galleons which crossed the Atlantic and sailed the Caribbean - and it's open to the public, in Old San Juan, during the holiday season.

After its 2-year trip down the East Coast of the USA, you have the chance to visit - until January 17, 2016.

This is a unique and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the design and details of the Spanish galleons which united Spain, America and the Pacific. Their maneuvers, life aboard, crew and the history of their more than three centuries of navigation. This vessel, 50 meters long and 11 wide, is the most famous of them all.

"Galleon" will be docked at the Tourist Pier in Old San Juan where you can visit from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The price of admission is $10/adult and $5/children (5-12 years). Children under 5 years can enter free when accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can be purchased on the boat itself or
