Greetings!
Wags to Riches 2026 is in the books, and we are beyond grateful for your part in making it a fabulous success for the animals!
Whether you attended in person, donated items or cash, sponsored the event, helped us get the word out, or supported our work in any other way, your contributions added up to A LOT to help the thousands of animals we have the privilege of caring for each year.
Some highlights:
-
We exceeded our Fund-A-Need goal of $15,000 to cover the costs of saving 150 lives by transporting animals from overcrowded and unsafe situations to WCHS for medical care and adoption.
-
We had a lot of fun with the Great Catsby theme! Ezra Distler Photography captured stunning portraits. A few are featured in this email, and you can view all of them and purchase additional prints here.
-
We sold almost all items in both our silent and live auctions, adding up to thousands of dollars to benefit the animals.
-
We're proud of the focus on local and unique experiences, gifts and art, and the opportunity to work with dozens of new businesses and individuals this year.
- The Retreat Farm's stunning North Barn showcased our offerings beautifully, and The Porch offered delectable, scrumptious fare worth writing home about.
Thank you so much again for your generosity and kindness to animals.
We're so grateful to live in a community that values and prioritizes animal welfare and safety to the utmost degree.
