A Growing Hunger for Biblical Training

Dear Brothers, Sisters, and Ministry Partners,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. CCI’s work in Bangladesh is progressing very well, with Bible classes now being conducted in various churches across six divisions of the country. These Bible classes reflect the growing interest among pastors and church leaders from various denominations in receiving biblical training. A significant portion of these leaders have faithfully served their congregations without formal theological training. Yet, their desire to learn God’s Word and use it properly is clear and inspiring.

In 2022, I started three Bible classes with 36 students, 28 of whom completed the training and received graduation certificates. It is very encouraging that eight of these graduates became passionate about evangelism and biblical training within their churches. As a result, 248 students have now begun Bible classes in 26 churches, and CCI’s ministry is growing steadily. Committed pastors and church leaders are being equipped to deepen their understanding of Scripture and strengthen their ministries. Their desire for training is strong and continues to grow. This multiplication of training is not only strengthening individual leaders but also impacting congregations and communities with the truth of God’s Word.

Teachers must travel extensively each month to conduct Bible classes. Traveling by public transportation takes a great deal of time, and sometimes teachers are unable to arrive on time for class. Therefore, motorcycles are needed to help teachers travel more effectively for the ministry. Teachers also need monthly financial support to continue serving faithfully. Please pray that God will meet these needs.

"I used to be a Hindu, but for the past eight years I have been living as a Christian, and I am a student in CCI's Bible course.

In short, my journey toward Christ began after watching a movie about the life of Jesus Christ. After that, I tried hard to know about Jesus and to find Christians. Through this process, I became a believer. Then I enrolled in a 2-year course to learn about the Christian life, where I gained many valuable lessons. However, I still felt that I needed more in-depth knowledge. At that time, I found the CCI course and joined it with great enthusiasm.

Now I feel that this course is providing a complete outline for my Christian life. The books I have completed so far provide profound teachings that play an important role in shaping an ideal Christian life. I have completed Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation, Old and New Testament Surveys, and Preaching Biblical Messages & Pastoral Ministry.

I believe that through CCI, we who are being trained from different congregations will be able to strengthen inter-denominational teaching in Bangladesh. As a result, false teaching will be removed from among us, and we will be able to teach others correctly.

Please pray for me and for all of us, so that we can serve more effectively in this country, where the majority of the people are unbelievers, in the future.

Prayer Requests & Praises

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Below are current requests from our teachers and students in Bangladesh. Your prayers are vital to this ministry.

Pray for healing and strength for students, teachers, and family members facing illnesses, chronic pain, mental stress, breathing problems, measles, and other health concerns.
Pray for spiritual growth, salvation, and protection for unbelieving family members, struggling marriages, and families desiring to grow together in prayer and faith.
Pray for God’s provision and protection over livelihoods, including farms, livestock, crops, employment, and educational opportunities for children and students.
Pray for safe travel and financial provision for CCI teachers as they travel long distances to teach Bible classes throughout Bangladesh.
Pray for wisdom, strength, and ongoing support for new teachers, CCI students, and the continued growth of the CCI ministry in Bangladesh.
