Providing business development support and services to emerging and established diverse and women owned businesses in the building industry for over a decade.

It is said: "America strives to be a place where anyone can become successful with hard work and determination. The experiences of minority entrepreneurs shows us that there’s still a lot of progress that needs to be made — but that it is possible to get there."

Here's An Overview of Our Work Through the Years and What's Planned For 2023.

"Construction Business Owners Operations and Management Workshop Series" and "Making It To The Top" Cohort.

These two programs are offered at varying times during the year. In 2023, each program will provide a different focus while at the same time providing training for business owners and their key staff on critical processes necessary to build their capacity.

For more than 10 years, the "Construction Business Owners Operations and Management Workshop Series" has provided foundational training for contractors on a variety of subjects.

"Making It To The Top", new in 2022, is a more advanced program open to businesses who have operated for at least 5 years. There is an emphasis on preparing for civil and/or heavy highway. This program is more advanced and comes with mentoring and coaching.

In 2023, we will return with a new series of sessions for both programs.

Transforming Organizations’ Operations and Leadership Strategies (TOOLS) is a business management approach that introduces construction firms to industry best solutions to achieve operational excellence, sustainable performance and scalable growth and directs them on how to integrate the learned knowledge into their operations.

TOOLS targets established construc-tion firms and provides critical insights to assist in increasing their capacity to bid on, win and manage construction contracts through business assistance, training, and intense focused individualized support.

TOOLS is seeking funding from any state, city, municipality, government agency or prime firm OR any other funding source committed to diversity and inclusion, and who has the WILL to invest in preparing diverse and women owned construction firms to help build their future projects.
