PCA ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP CHANGES
Dear PCA Community,

We are very excited to announce strategic changes to academic leadership positions at Prestonwood Christian Academy.

Recently the COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the need for alternative platforms for commerce and education as nations around the world continue to experience the paradigm shift from face-to-face to online. Prestonwood Christian Academy began offering quality Kingdom education online more than 11 years ago and continues to envision the innovative future of alternate platforms and delivery models.

For the past four years  Dr. Keri Ingraham  has led our PCA plus  program, but she will be stepping down this summer. We are grateful for Dr. Ingraham’s contributions during her tenure in the PCA School System. In addition to advancements in operational effectiveness and efficiency, PCA plus  total enrollment grew by 27% and the virtual enrollment increased by 28%.

The providence of God’s wisdom has allowed PCA to be forward thinking in strategic areas, and we have also been blessed with an incredibly talented staff, one of which will lead the online academy to the next level of innovation. Current PCA Plano Middle School  Principal Mr. Bill Wendl  will take over as Senior Director of PCA plus , along with exploring several other innovation areas and new school models. Mr. Wendl joined the PCA Senior Leadership team in 2006, initially serving as the Director of Development and has successfully served as Principal of PCA’s Middle School Division for the last 12 years.

We are excited that  Ms. Cindy Galloway  will assume the position of Middle School Principal effective June 1. Ms. Galloway joined our staff in 2017 to focus primarily on Lower School and Middle School (5th - 6th), overseeing areas such as curriculum development, instructional practices, and evaluation of school performance and accreditation. She is a veteran educator who just prior to joining PCA served as Principal of Dove Elementary School in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. Under her leadership, Dove Elementary School earned five out of five Star Distinctions for achievement and implemented a 1:1 computer program for all students in 2015. Ms. Galloway led strategic planning efforts for comprehensive school improvement with annual and long-term goals. Ms. Galloway received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Murray State University.

Assisting in our Innovation Team, Upper School English teacher  Mr. Chad Nichols  will also move positions to facilitate the day-to-day operations of PCA plus  as Director of Personalized Learning effective June 1. Mr. Nichols has been one our thought leaders in virtual education methods and will bring a wealth of experience as we continue to plan and deliver new delivery options.  Mrs. Amy Villa , our current Instructional Technologist will also be expanding her role to be our Instructional Designer, as we continue our initiative of online digital course conversion in conjunction with PCA plus .

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Bill Wendl, Ms. Cindy Galloway, and Mr. Chad Nichols to their new roles and we are excited for Dr. Ingraham as she pursues new opportunities. We look forward to seeing how God will lead us to a new level of excellence as we continue to do all things for His glory!
