This fall, Savannah Presbytery is heading to Atlanta for a weekend of faith, history, reflection, and community—and you’re invited!
- Pilgrimage to Atlanta: An Intergenerational Trip

Children, youth, and adults from across Savannah Presbytery will come together to explore places that helped shape the Civil Rights Movement and continue to speak powerfully to faith, justice, courage, and hope today.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll visit the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, worship together at historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, and explore Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. More than a sightseeing trip, this pilgrimage is an opportunity to learn together, reflect on our faith, and consider how the stories of the past continue to call us to faithful action today.
And we especially hope families will join us! Children and youth ages 17 and under receive free museum admission with a registered guardian, thanks to Savannah Presbytery.
Participants will stay at Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown, with breakfast included. Rooms are $214 and may be shared by families or roommates or reserved for single occupancy. Adult museum admission is $20, and optional Presbytery carpooling is available for $15 per registration.
