12th Annual Community Stream Cleanup for Geronimo and Alligator Creeks:
On April 12, 2025, the Geronimo and Alligator Creeks Watershed Partnership will host its annual Spring Stream Cleanup in Seguin and New Braunfels.
Individuals, volunteer groups, businesses, churches, and other organizations are invited to join the Partnership in picking up litter from stream banks, roadways, and other public spaces. Participation in the event is free, and volunteers will receive breakfast tacos, coffee, event t-shirts, and cleanup supplies at the cleanup launch sites.
To ensure adequate supplies for all volunteers, participants are asked to pre-register for free at www.geronimocreek.org. This event will begin at 9 a.m. and volunteers will meet at the Seguin ISD Irma Lewis Outdoor Learning Center (1865 E US Highway 90, Seguin) or Oak Creek Elementary School in New Braunfels (3060 Goodwin Ln, New Braunfels).
To learn more about this program, contact Annalee Epps.

The Work of The People | Film Series | America's Unholy Ghosts: The Racist Roots of Our Faith and Politics
Join us for this 5-week contemplative film series that begins on Wednesday, April 30th, (from 5:15pm to 6:15pm) at Spirit of Joy!
MLK challenged us to investigate the "ideational roots of our hate," and that's what author Joel Edward Goza opens up for us in these films created around some of the themes in his book America's Unholy Ghosts.
The five-session series includes 8 conversation films with Joel, and a discernment and discussion guide with practices to consider, written by Danielle Fanfair.
There is a sign-up sheet on the resource table in the back of the sanctuary. Each week will be a potluck as well, so bring a dish to share!
Contact Pastor Megan for more information.

Purses Needed for WIN Project:
WIN (Women in Need) is in serious need of purses. We fill gently-used purses with items (travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine products, etc) and distribute 10 monthly to the Salvation Army and Thriving Hearts.
Please drop off your purses and any toiletries during office hours.
Contact Karen Wallock for any questions you may have.

Want to improve the way you look on Breeze?
Have you had a look at your photograph on our online church directory, Breeze? And then, have you just sighed?
We can fix that! All it takes is a fresh picture taken on one of the upcoming Sundays. Stan Meyer can improve the way you look. And, if you are one of those with NO picture and thus a very unflattering blank look on your face, he can help with that too!
No appointment necessary; just watch out for Stan.
