Christmas Caroling:

Spirit of Joy/Compass will be going caroling to nursing homes in Seguin with Emanuel’s Lutheran from 2:30pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, December 1.

We would love to have as many youth go as possible. Compass will not meet regularly this day due to this event. 

We'll meet at Emanuel's Lutheran at 2:30pm sharp. All SOJ Members are invited to go caroling as well!

Christmas Nativities:

We will once again be displaying nativities of any style in our sanctuary windows through the Christmas season to encourage "Christ Was Born For All!"

If you would like to share your nativity and help set it up, please let Leah Matocha know so that we will have window space available. We will be setting these up after worship on Sunday, December 1.

2024 Salvation Army Kettle Campaign!

If you have not yet signed up, and have the desire to be a part of this important outreach endeavor, please do so.

New Member Orientation:

Spirit of Joy will hold a New Member Orientation (in La Casita) on Saturday, December 7, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

SOJ's New Member Welcome Ceremony will be held during worship on Sunday, December 8.

Please contact Pastor Megan if you have any questions about the orientation or welcome ceremony.

SOJ Kitchen Lost & Found:

Are you missing a serving bowl, platter, casserole dish or other kitchen-related items? 

Well, they just might be in the “homeless items” cabinets in the serving area in the sanctuary at Spirit of Joy. We will put them out on the small black table near the serving area this Sunday for folks to “claim” them and take them home. After that, they will be donated to the Cranny.

Advent Devotional Booklet:

There are a handful of copies of the booklet on the resource table in the back of the sanctuary.
