Dearest gentle readers:

Hope this finds you well, and that you are all having an enjoyable summer! We had an unforgettable July, and we're so excited to share the memories we made with you.

Though their afterschool program is on hiatus for the summer, Kids Alley was kind enough to partner with us for some summer programming! Our first event featured a poetry workshop led by local author Suzanne Gili Post. Many thanks to Suzanne for a wonderful visit and to Kids Alley for hosting!

Over the following weeks, we teamed up with Kids Alley again for some outdoor activities, and of course, more free books! Thanks to these wonderful "Junior Pop-Up Librarians" for their literary enthusiasm. We absolutely love to see it.

Over eventful July continued with a pop-up library at the Cesar Ruiz Bike Giveaway! We gave away many children's books, as well as workbooks by our dear friend Tom Tracy (check out his inclusive children's books!) Many shouts out to Cesar Ruiz for so generously giving back to the Camden community. It was a pleasure to be a part of such an impactful event, and we deeply appreciate the opportunity.

Our Free Book Shelves initiative continued to grow, as we installed shelves in another location--Atlas Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Washington Township! Thank you to Gabriel at Atlas for partnering with us, and to Dr. John Martin and Ed Hess for their help delivering the shelves. If you're interested in Free Book Shelves being installed at your organization's location, don't hesitate to reach out!

Lastly, we want to express our gratitude for the wonderful donations we recently received, including children's titles from Barefoot Books (thank you Francesca!), a generous donation of books from our dear friend and volunteer Sehrish Khan, and more.

We are able to work to increase literacy access because of the generosity of folks who donate books, provide funds to support us in our mission, and volunteer their time and energy as pop-up librarians and book ark stewards.
